The Feel Good Factor provides a range of materials which can be used in your school’s PSHE
planning, and in Citizenship lessons. The information is aimed primarily at Key Stage 4 students
but could be adapted for Key Stage 3.
Each section provides a page of information accompanied by activities and a Worksheet, for use
in the classroom or as homework. Sections can be used individually, or linked together to form
a programme of lessons on teen issues.
The Feel Good Factor themes are wide ranging and provide thought-provoking materials to
stimulate further research and debate. Discussion topics include:
- adolescence
- making choices
- the world of work
- rights and responsibilities
- safety
- planning for the future
- awareness of the world.
The Citizenship Curriculum aims to develop successful, confident and responsible young
citizens. The Feel Good Factor gives students an opportunity to reflect on their responsibilities
and development and improve their wellbeing.
PSHE
PSHE is no longer a statutory part of the National Curriculum, although all schools should make
provision for it. Schools are free to include other subjects or topics of their choice in planning
and designing their own programme of PSHE education. This is where The Feel Good Factor
can help.
